Assist equipment operator, welders, form carpenters, other tradespeople on-site Handle materials and equipment Prep construction site by cleaning obstacles and hazards Use power tools and machinery (e.
g.
, forklifts) when needed Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks Put up warning signs (e.
g.
, signposts, cones) for vehicles and passersby Help with setting up and transferring temporary structures (e.
g.
, scaffolding) Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions Clean up worksite from debris and machinery Ability to communicate well under pressure Ability to work as a team player with the capacity to assist in other areas of project General labor as needed THIS JOB IS LOCATED IN HIGHLAND, KS
Qualifications:
18 years of age required 1-year experience working in construction preferred Experience laying pipe to grade, setting manholes, back-filling, forming/ pouring concrete desired Must have reliable transportation Must be willing to work 45 hours per week Must be able to pass a drug test Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks Ability to work in all weather Job Type:
